Question Vredestein SPORTRAC 3 cheapest place to buy?

Whats the cheapest website/place to buy a set of four Vredestein SPORTRAC 3 ?

I've found mytyres.co.uk selling them (195/50 R15 82V) for £42.10 a corner. And that includes postage and packing.

Just wondering if there was anywhere cheaper before i part with my hard earned?

Is this the fully fitted price. Black circles are offerring Toyo T1-R for £47 fully fitted or mail order for under £34. Better tyre than the Sporttrac too.

I have had Sportrac2 on the 100 quattro for 14 months, and I have done approx 22000 miles on them. They grip well, in the dry and wet, and are quiet too. Still 3mm tread all round too.

Auto Express tyre test (objective rather than subjective) rates them highly.

If you are in South Wales, ring Venture Tyres in Bristol on 0117 9776447.

I paid £56.40 for 205/60R15 91V fully fitted inc valve, balancing VAT and disposal in Jan 08. Shouldn't have changed much,

I am going for the Quatrac this time round, as we (the brits) fit summer tyres and use them all year. The quatrac is an all season, which is snow rated, and is suitable for summer use too.

Below about 8C, the summer tyres don't give as much grip.

I highly rate Vredesteins, I have the HiTrac on the 80CL (185/60R14) and ComTrac on the VW T4 Caravelle.

Check out Auto Express tyre tests

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product...tyre_test.html

Don't forget about £10 a wheel for fitting and balancing, valves etc.........

I have the Vredestein sportrac3 on the A4 and Toyo T1-R on the Cq and in the wet they are not much different, but in the dry the Toyo's grip far better,
Have tried virtually all makes of tyre on the Cq in my 18years of ownership and the Toyo's suit it better than any of them. Goodyear F1 GS1-D3 are better again but the price is much higher though still buy these for my Passat sport in 225 width and you have to be going insane speeds to loose grip in the dry.
The Vredestein also squeal much earlier on corners when pushed, not something I have experienced at all with the GoodyearF1 tyres at MUCH higher speeds. Only downside of the Toyo is they wear down pretty quick. The sportrac3 however have lasted 3 years on the A4. Depends where your priorities lie I guess...
