Default Local 'ish breakfast meet

Decided to give the quattro a run out this morning to attend a relatively local breakfast meet at North Weald airport in Essex

Met up with a friend in his Delorean, who had brought another friend in another Delorean!

We made quite a mini convoy

At the meet

The only other small grills there were these 2 very tidy S4 cabs

As expected it was mainly modern modifieds but there were a few classics worth a look at

All in all, a very pleasant & friendly atmosphere, free to attend and worth a gallon or so of Shell's finest

Thanks Dave

To be fair I've not really touched it since winter storage. Just nice to get in & drive it for the second weekend running.

Great stuff, love the Deloreans and Esprits (not to mention the Quattro of course ).

My CGT is at my parents place under a cover, they tell me that more interested visitors, delivery drivers etc guess it's a Delorean than an anything else!! The shape does look remarkably similar when covered. Although a certain film might have something to do with it

Some lovely cars there.

Interestingly, DeLoreans and GT 's were shipped together too.

I wondered if the quattro would be overshadowed given everyone's familiarity with the DMC's, but actually had a lot of (generally well-informed) interest in mine too.

I can see how yours could be mistaken! Hadn't thought of the similarity in profile before
