Default B2 Coupe LH Rear inner wheel arch wanted

Hi guys,
I’m desperately looking for the LH rear inner wheel arch for a B2 coupe. The welder says he can’t fabricate one and I need to find him a panel. Does anyone know of one or where I might get one?

A good item off a donor car could also work.

Thanks!
S.

Have a chat with Pete Reeve, Quattrocorner, he got one for our Ur resto via Audi Tradition a couple of years ago and it wasn’t silly money either ISTR.

Hi Isimmo,
I looked at Audi Tradition last night and whilst they do appear to have the panel, they no longer ship to UK because of Brexit and the price of it is £400! I’m hoping to find alternatives before having to spend that much on something.

Blimey, they’ve jacked the price right up on them, they were something like £160-quid in 2018.

If you can find a helpful Audi parts department, they can order for you. I've always found Reading Audi very good

I wasn’t too surprised to be honest, but I’ve ended up sacking the guy who was lined up to do the work. I showed him the arch from Audi and he said that he’d probably cut off the bit he needed. I’m not paying £500 for something for someone to destroy to use a quarter of it.

I’ve been given a lead I’m going to chase up tomorrow.

I think that approach speaks volumes about the guy's quality as a panel beater/body builder!!

Agreed, thankfully we’ve had a lucky break and we’ve now found someone who will not only happily fabricate an arch, but they’re going to weld the whole thing and respray the lower half of the car. They’re local too! So winning!

Thanks to all who inputted to the thread!

Did he gallop off on his horse? What a plank!

Sounds like you will get sorted from your later posts, well pleased for you.
