Hi All

You may of seen this but I really enjoyed this short film. I just wish Audi would do the same with their old models and were passionate about their heritage!

Bah... One of the guys on vagcars.dk is restoring a 1960 Porsche 356B T5... That is, he's on sick leave the next 3 months as his right hand Flexor Pollicis Longus was cut below A2. He's a "metal guy" on a poultry plant in the northern part of Demark.

He sent us snaps during surgery on his right thumb, don't worry, I'm not going to post them here ;-)

DIY fabrication - buying ready-made panels is too easy ;-)

The 356 is "monobody" so with front and rear shell cut off - AND all the rust, this is what is left... Most of the rear frame is done. Owner expect to have the car painted and ready early summer 2018.

Porsche are passionate about there cars you see this the world over, Audi are only passionate about selling cars and making money from them, and if have an Audi model from 20 years ago, oops sorry we don't make that part any more, is the most conmanly used phrase used in the Audi parts department or
NLA, followed by you will need to go to a specialist or a breakers to get the part.

Well, the difference is that Audi drivers still drive their cars like they were stolen, 30 years later ;-)
That's why parts are missing
