Default One for Ken and other Ford nuts

How often does a Mk1 come up as good as this?

It's nice, but, three negatives for me.
1, It is not Caspian Blue.
2, It is not the Injection Ghia.
3, It is the lower specced '85 Model Year. The '84 was the one to have.

I do like it, though.

Some Orion porn.

Completely missed the fact that it's a carb model

Were alloys an option on the Mk1 Ghia's? From what I remember of the Mk2s most seemed to come with 'pepperpots' as standard?

Never an easy task to design a saloon car out out of a car that was inherently designed as Hatch to start with

Both Orions and the Focus
Both Jettas Mark 1 & 2, Vento however the Bora was more successful.
Astra Belmonts should have been drowned at birth

I'm with you Dave.

The Bora worked as a design & the high spec Orions had appeal, the rest were poor and the Belmont was worse.

1.6L Orions were on the company car list when I started out as a finance rep - they were seriously boggo & only people with no legs could fit in the back.
