Default Mega Apologies.....!!

Well if you were held up around the Hertford area on the M25 this morning then my driver, Dave Green apologises. He was taking 26 pallets of Pot Noodle to Sainsburys at Hoddesdon when the truck / trailer infront jack knifed so he had to dive onto the hard shoulder to avoid him. Whilst trying to pull back onto the carriageway he lost traction and slid into the gravel trap. Hill Hire ( who we lease the trucks off ) sent a 26 tonne wrecker, that ended up in the gravel too. So they sent a 40 tonne wrecker, that ended up in the gravel also. So finally they sent a 50 tonne wrecker and that, after going in the gravel and getting out, managed to pull the unit and trailer clear.
So as previously stated apologies from Dave and me, it's not been the easiest morning at work!!

Oh dear, but what can you do about it, one of those things, I assume you mean J25 - Waltham Abbey?

Yep that's the one. dave my driver is only a young lad and he had not had hardly any experience when I took him on. But I invested in him, gave him an opportunity and he came good. The poor lad was nearly in tears when he was explaining himself this morning to me. But sh+t does happen and he's ok now and he wasn't injured which was the main thing.
Been a bit of a day.

The thing is they have to try and pull the stranded truck out as streight as posible so the dont damage it or the wrecker, so if the hard shoulder was icey it could very easly drag it in
