Default Dashboard repair

Thanks all for the help with sourcing a Type 43 windscreen, I now need to find someone who can re-cover the dash. The vinyl has cracked where the thin foam underneath it has perished. Dash out or fill and paint like they did on Car SOS?

I've never known a dash go back in without problems so I know what I would choose

EXACTLY, printed circuitry / conductive tracks, "loose" wires etc and not least the brittle bakelite or whatever the binacle is made of..... hence the query, and thank you Jack1 for the top tip. I'll get in touch. I saw Tim Shaw on Car SOS apparently cut, fill and "paint", looked brilliant, but he's alot cleverer than I am.......
The new (Pilkington) windscreen is coming from Lancashire Windscreens. Thanks All
