Hi all,
I have bought a 2.3NG engine and gearbox (for spares). It is sitting as a complete unit on a pallet in Ayr. I will need it to be shipped on the 4th of Feb, or asap after that as it is taking up space at the chaps house, I was meant to lift it on the 7th of Jan, but life problems got in the way, and the chap has been very good about the delay. So does anyone have any advice or ideas about how to get it shipped to N.Ireland. I have looked at pallet shipping and it is as expensive as taking a car or van there and back..................... ps, does anyone know how much weight there is in an NG engine and gearbox?? TIA Dan. |

Have you tried Shiply, I found a great contact through Shiply who moved a very large car part for me, but not sure he goes over to Ireland. Thats where I'd start though...

Thanks Frank,
Yeah tried a few, they all want dimensions and weight, I did guestimate them, but was getting silly prices, waiting for confirmation of dimensions and weight before trying them again lol. |
