1983 UR Quattro Roof Skin

As per the title.
Need to lose the non standard sunroof and the best way would be to replace the entire roof skin.
Can anyone help?

Should be the same as coupe gts and coupe quattros

Hi Iam doing one the now but Iam doing away with the factory sunroof and fitting a coupe GT roof skin without sunroof coz don't need sunroof when you have aircon its hard job but can be done

I've never understood why sunroof & aircon are viewed as alternatives.

I am of the same view, Chris.

I find it frustrating when looking for a modernish car, and finding one with a sunroof as well as other desirable options is quite a task.
A factory glass sunroof is a big must have for me, when looking for a car.

Although the steel sunroof on my 90s were better than no sunroof, they were crap compared to the glass ones in my A6s and A8.

I always loved the factory glass sunroof on my Orion 1.6i Ghia and XR3i.

I had the pleasure of spec-ing up a Mondeo Estate in 1996 when aircon was still a treasured option.
I specified a/c and a tilt-slide glass sunroof, and got calls after placing the order checking it was correct... WHY was it SO unlikely???

I always choose a sunroof where possible, but I notice in modern cars, whose windscreen rakes are shallower & the front of the roof structure is sloped, that the sunroof is almost behind the driver's head in some cases, instead of directly above & slightly in front. Shame.
