Default The Thousand Pound Challenge

Played this game on here before and thought it would be good to ressurrect. No prizes apart from the satisfaction of unearthing possible classic gems for next to nowt. I played this in real life eight years ago and landed a gold Audi Coupe

You have £1000 budget.

Your challenge to unearth that next potential classic. Make you find and post on here.

Cars must be a minimum ten years old.

Cars must no longer be in production.

Must be roadworthy. No barn finds or resto projects.

I'll kick off with this. Ford Scorpio Ultima. Last of the big Ford saloons, packed to the hilt with goodies but quirky looks meant it never sold in huge numbers. Currently at rock bottom prices. I had one on hire for two weeks when they first came out and a very accomplished if ugly looking thing.

And only £950

OK the auction hasn't finished yet. I remember them being about as popular as a pint of lager top in an Irish bar when they were new.
