I've had this car for about 18 months now and before this had a saloon version for 8 years. I'm reluctantly selling this car because I'm soon to be self employed and need a van.

In the ten years I've been driving this model of Audi it has only let me down once when the alternator failed. This one is fitted with a recently refurbished alternator which was done by a company local to me. It has new bearings, new slip ring and new diode and brush pack. I also fitted a new heater fan when I got the car.

The bodywork is in really good condition for it's age. Just a few bubbles of rust around the rear drivers side wheel arch and and a small amount of rust just starting to appear on the back edge of the rear passenger side door. The car has still got all the original under-seal underneath it.

Unfortunately the glass in the tailgate got broken so I've replaced the whole tailgate. However the only one I could find was green although there's only two small strips of paint on the back anyway.

The engine runs well and starts first time as soon as the key turns. The engine could do with a replacement oil seal at some point.

The roof lining had become lose and was rolled up and secured before I bought the car. I've read this is a common fault.

I have many spare parts for this car as I've still got my old one in a shed and I also broke up another avant for spares

This car would be a ideal work horse for somebody or would be a great project car.

I have put £300 as the asking price but i am open to offers. I would rather the car go to somebody that wants it, or even for parts rather than send it to the local scrap yard. If you would like any more information about the car or any photos please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for looking
