Looks mint prior to accident damage & a real shame - Cat B so parts only.

Price seems realistic for the parts potential.

wouldnt be a big job putting a new chassis leg and inner wing in.
it would probably be a second hand item though, which probably tipped the balance..
shame..

I'm not 100 % certain but I think the "ruling" that Cat B write offs can't go back on the road is only stipulated by insurers. I think as long as it passes a VIC check, DVLA will issue a V5. Nothing illegal.

I've been in contact with the owner.
He received some injuries/cuts etc but , as he said - it could have been worse.
so the car:-

it's in Swindon, owner is in south wales. Owner has bought remains from insurance company in effort to minimise losses!
Garage where the car is wants it removed in one go, i.e. not loads of people picking odds & ends off it! Owner looking for best money obviously but I reckon if several people wanted various bits and turned up together...... the the garage will dispose of the remains as per insurance agreement.
Interior is in good condition 'none of the usual seat wear' he says.

I'd like all the doors of it and the front and rear window rubbers.

A shame it has been written off though

I'd like the wheels and tyres ( if tyres OK !) and some of the refurbed injection bits. It's about 40 miles from me but I 've got nowhere to store and no transport for it .
