Default 80/90 saloon injection fuel tank

Bit of a long shot I know, but my 80 carb has only 6mm return and 8mm feed from the tank, not nearly enough for my new engine. I can see on EKTA that the injection cars have tanks with much larger return/feed lines..

I know I could modify the existing tank, but if someone has an injection tank I'd like to hear from them..

The coupe part numbers on EKTA are different, the image is the same but the number isn't, I suspect the shape is different because of the quattro floorpan..

Typ 81/85 and Typ 89 (Series 2 and 3) the boot is behind the rear seats.

Series 4 ("new" grill) from about 1992 J reg onwards had it under the floor, hence they could introduce the avant version.

do ya think someone at Audi suddenly had a brainwave with the 80 and realised after 15 years with an estate model in the 80 range that they could by just moving the fuel tank??

and as Pimp says, the fuel tank is in an uprite position behind the rear seats. On the plus side of this, you get a really deep boot space!

I stand corrected Steve couldn't quite rememeber just know boot was bigger/deeper in my 80. I wish was under floor as boot in quattro really is rubbish.
