Default cq diff lights

Sorry guys if this has been covered elsewhere.
Not had the CQ long and i am still trying to learn about it.
I'm not mechanical or i'm affraid very technical so i hope this isn't a daft question.
Hopefully(if i've added the picture right) you can see the diff panel. I have a light that shows on the panel(not all the time), as if i've engaged the diff. But as you can see (hopefully) the diff switch is in a upright position. In fact i have not touched it since i bought the car! So the question i'm trying to ask is, is this normal for the light to come on when the diff has not been manually engaged? Could this be a sensor problem? The car seems to be driving fine, but i would like to hear any advice from you guys.

It will scrub your tyres out very quickly, it may be the one way valve leaking there is a thread about it on www.quattroforum.com i think

Drove the CQ to work and back today. I thought this problem with the diff light was random! But today i have discovered that the light only comes on and off when i engage the car in fifth gear. I even switched the engine off, and it still came on when i engaged fifth!
So the question now is, why? Has any one else come across this problem? The car feels fine so i'm hoping it's nothing major?
Hope you guys can help.

I thought the "front" was actually the centre diff only, and the rear was the rear. Hence why the torsen cars only have one postion.

Change the one way valve which is hidden up behind the panel, Coxy should have the part number kicking around, its around about a tenner, mine started to do this when I was on full boost and the diffs will try and lock, Luckerly this only happened twice to me and a t low spped, Derek over on the quattroforum had this happen to hime two years ago on the way home from Castle Combe on a tight bend and he went streight on and totalled his WR quattro
