Depends on the look you're trying to achieve. Bright silver always works for me, but then again, satin black with a red stripe could also work (in a Time Attack style!)

What year coupe is it?

B3 or B4 and you maybe able to get away with a modern rim

for me, modern rims don't suit the Typ 85 coupes though

Seen S2's running RS4 rims, so I presume a B3 or B4?

Positive Sonic's S2 is running on 17" RS4 rims. May even be RS6 rims.

either way, they look superb on a B4 coupe

I shall be sure to take some pictures of it once I've finished putting the front back together.

Oh God people, never use GSF in Slough. I was in urgent need of a Cam belt and GSF Reading had none in stock so I rang up Slough and they say they have one in stock and over the phone the guy says "we close at 2pm which gives you 3/4's of an hour to make it here before we close and don't bother coming down because we aren't staying any longer than 2".
Seriously his attitude over the phone was really annoying but anyways I rushed down there and I walk in and say "I've been told you have a Cam belt for a 1989 Audi Coupe Quattro and the engine code is KV", the guy over the counter looks at his screen and then says "No we don't have one in stock for that car". Then the guy who spoke to me on the phone was standing in the corner and hes like oh..thought that was the right belt that I said etc etc....biggest waste of time ever, they don't seem to know much at all and he says GSF in Feltham will have one in stock...I just walked out the store knowing that even GSF Feltham close at 2....ARGHHHH people -.-"
