Default Urgent Help -Crankshaft seal on a sunday?

Any idea where I can get a crank shaft seal to day? It for an AEL/AAT but from memory these are the generic crankshaft seal of choice for any VW/audi based on the 4 pot / 5 pot layout.

Any ideas? Based in Oxford and will travel up to 2 hours to get one if some one has a new one in the shed I could borrow and then replace by post in the week ??

Yes and No stripped the front of and found the timing belt tensioner had imploded ( the oil on the belt was actually grease). And the peg which holds the timing belt tensioner had snapped of the back plate. Luckily compression on all 5 so in the process of welding a new peg on and then back to normal just a worry that the tensioner was a genuine OE " made in Canada" one that lasted 4 months / 13000 miles???

"genuine OE" = something bought from a dealer?

YES, as in Genuine OE, Original equipment, 'made in Canada' which used to mean the good ones.

Sounds similar to our t4. ACV engine. Oil leak on cambelt, also tensioner fell apart.

Issue is I don't think the oil leak is from the crank it looks as if its from the pressure release valve area. In side the cam belt cover is dry apart from grease all over the place emanating from the tensioner. New part fabricated just got to get it back together speaking to a couple of people the pin that holds the tensioner in place does fail and comes apart especially with age.
