Agree, and some... Lofty's got a photo of his on the Wingham highstreet next to several US spec cars, and his looks utterly, utterly sublime in conparison....

Yep its a high price for over here but I guess a low one in comparison to what these units are getting in Germany etc. Lot of the cars here ( in original shape) being re-exported back to Europe because of exchange etc. Other N. American cars have had too many changes made to them to pass the German import regulations. Nice to see that they are going up in value. Would be interesting to see what this finally goes for.
Trying to get Euro bumpers over here is real hard.. Cheers Keith |

so you're allowed to get rid of those fat bumpers and put the normal ones on now? i take it that they no longer insist that you have the anaphylactic ones fitted??

It is a bit high for the states, but then again, that particular car has history (Owned by Brumos founder) and excellent maintenance. My understanding is that it already sold to a German buyer and is being shipped back to Germany..
There was a discussion this morning on QuattroWorld about the same car.. One of the posters contacted the seller and confirmed it's no longer available.. Still though, I think it's good news for owners of Urqs.. Harder on those of us who'd like to find one though.. ![]() |

Front skirt has been re painted and they have forgotten to black out the inner lower grill inserts as is the usual schoolboy error also as is painting the wheels the wrong colour.
Apart from that it looks pretty good. |
