New toy arrived!

Just thought I would share my excitement (it's feels like Christmas), my new toy arrived today.

My new Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera body arrived today, oh joy!

I just need to put it to good use now and get some piccies posted on here.

personally, andy, i think that you should be investing in one of these and giving the rest of us a chance at the monthly photo comp!!

i'm sure there will be - i have a smashing OM40 that looks like it's never seen
any use...got it for washers on ebay...went to jessops for some film and the girl
opened a drawer with around a dozen film rolls in there....dear oh dear....a sign of the times...

well it'll sit in that drawer for the foreseeable future, andy - a great old camera and infinitely better than the decidedly hit or miss nikon d70s, that's for sure! at least you don't get the cpu playing silly buggers and telling you to change the compact flash card every other shot in spite of the £200 service it's just had!!

steve mcqueen said it in a nutshell: "new stuff is no good...."
