Do you know what, in this day and age... (at this point in history, in Coulthard speak)... With that spec, and probable condition, service record, mileage etc.... its not far off the mark.... Maybe £3k keen, but that's tossing a coin between dealer and private, warranty or not for a Ur.... As at September 2013.... I'd suggest its not a million miles away fron its true value.

You know what Ian....... you're quite right. There's only a few things about this car that aren't as desirable as they could be.....

Firstly, the seller is known for (highly) polishing a reasonably good car and marketing/photographing it far too well. I'd guess they paid about £13-£15k before starting with the detailing.

Four previous owners isn't bad (I make that five in total), but I'd prefer two or three less - especially with such a relatively low (alleged) mileage.

The recent service history hasn't been done in the right place for some and although they say that there is mileage history from day one, I'm guessing that the 2003 MoT would be well worth the viewing. If all they have before that is a stamped book then I'd be a tad suspicious......

Finally, the colour won't suit everyone - though I'm not suggesting there's anything wrong with white.

At that age and money, I'd be checking the condition of every square millimetre of paint and I'd be looking (very) closely at the suspension/steering components. If none of these items had been 'done' in the recent past, I'd be walking away, because that's another £20k spend before you have a car that will see-out another 20years of use on the road.

Might be more tempted with this:

Pearl or white is not usually my thing, but that does look nice.

Craig that price is not far off i reckon!

My Ur being the more sort after 10v, ALPINE white, none leather, none sunroof, only thirteen owners, full history apart from the ten years that's missing,
i think mine is worth something like that price or am i dreaming a little!?

Yes it looks a cracking motor.
A little bit more than i paid though.

I don't need another one! My RR is one previous owner and everything I mentioned has been done.

you and me both, andy!! i think it's only the dreamers, oil workers and
the lottery winners that are in the £25k bracket!! these cars sit around
the internet forever and never move at that kind of money..
