That's nice, even if it is jewish racing gold!

I have much love for E12's, not too many about these days!

Nice but I'm guessing it's very, very expensive.

If you think ur's of this age have tin worm problems, these can be in a league of there own ! Don't know if the one I put a front panel on a year ago was anything to go off, or it was a poor example, but it was in very poor health body wise. However, never had the reply of "sorry that's nla now" at the dealer, give them the vin, the part is there in three days, the complete front panel came in at £500 ish iirc. Going off topic a little, didn't Alred use the metering head of these ?

i am just appalled that previous owners can allow their pride and joy to fall into such shite states of repair. fair do's money and all that, but really - just put it off the road somewhere away from the council gritter until the bank balance improves!

i dropped the quattro off at the garage today for various work to get done and was explaining to the top chap how i was fried with the cost of the quattro's upkeep. james, in his usual upbeat style said, "ahhh, but once you get on top of it....."

better therapy than a shrink!!

The restoration of this car is pretty impressive:

No idea what it's worth though.
