Default What do you think?

As some of you know I will be collecting a CQ this weekend, the plan is to make a track day car of it. I have asked about ABY, B3 and AAN engines but after speaking to a mate today he suggested using a 2.0 16v four cylinder engine, that of MK iii golf fame the ABF, with a few tweaks and a turbo these can give a heap of bhp.
On the plus side it will make the car lighter, weight will be further back towards the bulk head and most of all there is a cost saving to be had over the top dollar ABY or B3 route.

I have also managed to acquire, anti roll bars, brakes and wheels off an S2, so parts collection is going a lot quicker than I thought it would.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the 4 pot idea?
