Default Crap Aussie Films

I've just spent or wasted over 4 hrs of my life watching 'Chopper' and 'Animal Kingdom';
Perhaps my view is tainted by the fact my ex-tramp-of-a-first-wife lives there, but what sheer, unadulterated shite.
Other than Mad Max, The Dish, The Piano, Babe, Walkabout, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Muriel's Wedding, has Oz produced any decent films?

I thought animal kingdom was quite good myself

'long weekend' from the late 70s I always remember to be a good film,although last time I saw it was 15 years ago probably.

I am trying to think of some more but am struggling to think of anymore decent ones tbh

There was a 70's or 80's film with Susan Penhaligen about a coma patient with telekinetic powers; the shock really did come in the last minute or so.

Probably about the same year that your taste in music peaked.
