Default NS Brake/indicator light for 86 Audi 80 saloon + others

I'm looking for a Nearside (passenger) Brake/indicator light unit for my old (86) 80 -1.6 CL . Like the pic below, only not smashed in by the local kids (again ).

Also looking for a nearside rear passenger door glass (it's manual winders, and with a green tint), and offside door mirror glass. Again smashed in by the kids, but less urgent since I have temporary replacements. Maybe a couple of plastic wheel trims as well, but I'm not all that bothered about those.

I guess almost any saloon from the early/mid 80's would have parts that fitted, So long as they are functional I'm not especially bothered about condition.

If anyone could help me out I'd be most grateful to receive a PM or email.

Many thanks,
Jim.

Hi, Had to smash an o/s one a while back when I locked keys in boot, so had to use one of a pair I was keeping; which means somewhere I've got a nearside, which you can have. I'll PM you if I find it & if you don't find another that someone might have closer to hand! Cheers.

That must have been *extremely* annoying!
If you could have a look I'd be much in your debt, thanks for your reply in any case.
And thanks for the heads up as well, Coxy.

I do have a spare, but it is one of the spares I will be keeping (as I want to keep my 80CL on the road).

As you have had kids break other bits, I would hazard a guess that as soon as you have mended the bits, they will smash them again.

Any chance of getting a CCTV system, or small webcam installed, to catch them in the act???

I think that they will keep doing it to annoy you, and you will one day run out of spares.

Can you stick a bit of red duck tape over it for now, and if the police stop you, tell them that kids keep breaking it?

I'm trying to look at the cause, not the symptoms.

Thanks for the thought, but there's nothing I can do.
They do exactly what they want to, which will include stabbing you if you object, the police seem powerless even when they are interested I'm afraid.
But, apart from needing the car to be legal, I've learnt that the minute you leave something unrepaired, it makes it worse. Any vehicle that gets left with a broken light or window gets progressively more smashed up as they experiment with what they can get away with, quite often ending up in it getting torched.
I don't know why they're like this, to be honest. They're not poor, they have more expensive clothes and trainers than I do and live in nicer houses.
Anyway, probably best to leave the social commentary to a site that's not a car one!
I patched it up with an old trailer light lens and a lot of silicon sealant earlier today, so it's probably enough to see me out of getting pulled over, but it will never pass an MOT, so still looking!
