Default todays classic cars of the future....

As always happens, certain cars seem to reach bottom book value, fall in to the hands of people who won't and don't look after them and then, a few years time, people realize how good they were and start looking around for good clean unmolested examples.

So, what's around today cheap that would be a good one to mothball?

I'll start with a Clio 182 cup/trophy.
Ford Racing Puma.
Clio 3.0 V6

On our side of the Pond, it will likely be clean unmolested copies of the Mazda MX5 or Miata and the WRX STi variants of the Subarus. Most of the Subaru will have been flogged and bastardized.

If you come over to the UK, the MX5 is probably the most common convertible/2 seater sports car on the roads today.

..and yes, agree with you on the WRX Sti scoobys.

I'd have a Renault 5 GTT now if I could find a good unmolested one!

...and knowing the random rubbish I buy, I really wouldn't discount me buying anything...EVER!
