This is believe it or not a genuine Audi hue. There was an F Plate (ex VAG UK) very early 90 quattro 20V owned by a member on here in the same colour. It is certainly rare.

My Dad's colleague had one that colour when new, was it called Dove Grey or something like that, my grey NSU was Smoke Grey a rare Audi NSU colour.
