About to be spewed forth from every news orifice..." Its worse than we thought".
And what prompts me to say so? Well, its been little reported, but Dick Branson, 100 "scientists" ( all warmistas i have no doubt) and the High priest of Global climate chaos/change/cooling/disaster/warming- Al Gore are all en route to the Antartctic to make their report. Nothing wrong with that at first sight, except, theyre not going in winter, oh noes, theyre going at the middle of the antarctic summer which means? Lots of videos of Melting snow and ice to be dutifully shat out by the media as proof of the dangerous "warming". "See? Its worserer than ever we thought!" Pure deception at its best, Al Gore, owner of the largest polluting nickel mine in the US ( batteries innit?) making proclomations on saving the planet whilst his new found buddy "Dick" flies his planes over the North pole to take advantage of faster flight routes... Also unreported, University of East Anglia and the Met office, released a statement buried in other stuff saying no warming detected for the last 15 years.....so whyd they come out and say 2010 was the "hottest" so far? By "hot" btw we're talking minute %'s of a degree...Global warming, its just lies, bullshit and obfuscation. |

I too don't buy into this "global warming crap" I do agree that there are concerns over CO2 levels, but the ecology was "balanced" until the dimwits chopped down the rain forests and other trees.
This vegetation was the catalyst, vegetation holds the ground together, it maintains moisture in the atmosphere above (clouds), and then it rains, waters the trees etc. etc. If you take out the local trees, the rain clouds go elsewhere and concentrates somewhere else and eventually it rains bigstyle, result flooding and mudslides because there are no trees. Now the excess CO2 is blamed on mankind and the easy answer is reduce our CO2 ouput (attack the motorist), the correct answer was to NOT chop down the trees (but there is no money in NOT chopping down trees)

) , to get "something done" about "something", to scare people into doing what one lunatic sector wants you to do.Seen it all before, the tactic of the high pressure salesman: "buy now! Dont lose your chance!" blah fecking blah... just the same with "global warming" which morphed into "climate change" and now morphed again into "climate chaos"...all complete bullshit to scare the witless into paying yet more money out for a non issue. Historical fact is that CO2 was far higher in previous times than it ever was today and the planet never suffered because of it, it actually thrived. Theres no evidence to suggest a link to CO2 as the warming agent that its been portrayed as, so why is there any reason to even attempt to reduce it? Its a minor atmospheric trace gas thats absolutely essential to all plant life. In actual fact, commercial greenhouses ramp up the levels found inside from the usual atmospheric levels of around 380ppm to over 2000ppm and for what end? To increase yields! Yup, the plants love it, cant get enough of it, but the green lobby want it banned/reduced/outlawed...theyre completely nuts as are the so called "scientists" who peddle the myths to get funding for non research and nobel prizes. Did you know, that Di Hydrogen Monoxide is the worst warming agent? It can also be lethal to human life and every other animal that breathes. Yet they dont do anything about that and that comes out of every car exhaust. Read this and see what you think. http://xtronics.com/reference/dihydrogen-monoxide.htm |

The University of East Anglia was massively successful in persuading the world at large that the massive leak was all about a few naughty emails. In fact BY FAR the most damaging document to the global warming case is HARRY_READ_ME.txt which is still online in a number of places.
If you have even a passing knowledge of programming and statistics, HARRY_READ_ME.txt is a terrifying document. One day there may be statues erected in honour of Dr Ian (Harry) Harris. |

Have you seen the latest tranche of 5000 emails? Even more stuff in there that puts "in context" all the previous stuff and gives a dmaning insight into the "state of the art" of climate quackery. |

I think global warming should be openly encouraged, it's bleedin' freezing at the moment. And anyway, there'll be more totty to look at..

If you actually want to get the inside track on what "reality" actually is in respect of the whole climate quackery, taken from the sceptical viewpoint ( scientists should always be sceptical) then ahve a good nosey around here.
No BS, just science and discussion of. http://wattsupwiththat.com/ |

i'll need to read through this all later but, just a thought.. we're in an interglacial period. not the most predictable of times probably anyway.
because we can measure something does it mean it's our fault? i've no doubt we've added to the 'problem' but climate changes, sea levels rise and fall, that's just what happens. 60m of rising sea levels since the last ice age or something like that? i think the main problem is that there's too many people living in the wrong place! if we lived for 40,000 years and had a good memory we'd probably only be spending money and time developing about 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the earth's surface. because we'd know that a lot of it is desert from time to time, and a lot of it is either flooded or buried in ice from time to time. but because we don't live for 40,000 years we just need to adapt and move around as the place changes, that's all, do what we've always done. i better start packing then.. ![]() |
