A 4-bolt wheel on a S2? Coupes incl non-turbo quattro models had these but the S2 is 5-stud.

Agree... Coupe will be 4X108pcd...... Unless type 81, then 4x100pcd...

S2 will be 5x112pcd....

Hi, many thanks for your expert reply, however my car is a S2 COUPE, it does have four bolts holding the wheel on, the PCD is 108 and the ET is 37. The rim size is 7J by 15 it says Ronal made in Germany on the outer rim, hope this clears up any doubts, cheers, John. PS. My home phone number for anyone with wheels to sell is 01626 332984, many thanks.

Sounds to me as though someone has done a 20Vt conversion to a normal coupe quattro. All S2's came as standard with 16" wheels and 5 studs in order to accomodate the twin pot calipers...Does yours have the twin pots?!

Definitely not a factory S2 Coupe. Either an engine conversion or it is a Coupe quattro with S2 badges on it. What type of engine has it got? Engine code?

S2 was never fitted with 7Jx15" four stud wheels from the factory - but as I said above the '88-on 5 cylinder non-turbo and 6 cylinder Coupe quattros were.

Hi Guys, the engine is a four cylinder 2.0 litre, it looks just like a VW golf engine that I had many years ago. The car is a 1991 registred vehicle on a K reg. It looks identical to the car at the bottom of the page in the Haynes manual no 1491 page no 4. sorry to be such a pain but I am new to Audis. Having been a Merc owner for the last 25 years having owned several and still do, I cannot believe the mickey mouse engineering in the Audi. For instance, the Mercs did not and will not ever fit a plastic cam drive belt, chains are the only reliable option. You need to be a contortionist to service the Audi, the Merc could be serviced wearing your best suit, Merc parts are also very cheap, just look in the German and Swedish cat. and compare. this should provoke some sort of discussion best wishes, John.

Hi Amanda, if its not an S2 what is it? I bought it off an old guy who told me it was an S2, I had no reason to doubt him. I have bought parts for it telling them its an S2 and all the parts have fitted OK. I am very confused now. regards, John.
