I have been using Eset Smart security for years, with no problems, never yet had an infection.
Currently using Smart security 4, but just got mail version 5 is now out, so downloading the trial now! Anyone else use this software? I like it as it is not resource hungry like other big name brands i wont mention, does a better and faster job imo! hoping 5 has not got to bloated and heavy! |

Ditto. One of Mickeysoft's better bits of code. I also like the fact that it's licensed with Windows so it isn't PERMANENTLY mithering you to upgrade to some 'Pro' or 'Gold' edition.

Have to agree that MSE is the best free security suit i have come across, i get plenty of virused computers to sort out for people, and after cleaning and installing MSE i have not seen one back, compared to using other free ones such as avg and avast in the past.
I have been using eset as i know someone gets me a paid liscense every year and costs me nout lol ![]() |

AVG free is a simple one to use, has a great web page checker too.
