People do it all the time, don't want to be stuck behind a coach / bus don't think about the results of their actions

The red car just disappears right under the landing legs. Bloody horrific that one Nige. BIG death toll I'm sure on that. The funny thing is when you are driving anything large like a truck, people think they can just pull out on you and accelerate away. The forget the gaps they want to pull into are going at the same speed as the traffic!! Assholes, and always senseless.

Its amazing how often these twats do just pull out in front of us
![]() Its alway's when you are fully frieghted (44 tonnes) on a damp greasy road and 9 times out of 10 they is a small child sat on the back seat of the car ![]() I can tell you its a very scary site when this happens, all you can do is hit the brakes and hope the ABS/EBS is working 100%, as for the split second they dissapear from your line of site under the front of the truck you are just waiting for the thud Thank God we have never hit any, but have been soooo close ![]() All you then get is the idiots sticking two fingers up to you ![]() Sadly one day, one of them will learn the hard way ![]() |

We have coaches that carry 102, numptys pullout in front of you cue kids / passengers thrown about coach, do they care ............ no could even be their child on the coach on the way to school. Better still when the parents are late droping their kids off at the bus stop ......... see you pulling away overtake you and slam the brakes on ..............

reminded me of this article I read a while ago about how the body reacts in a head on collision with a stationary object..food for thought!! THIS IS A REPRESENTATION OF WHAT HAPPENS IN AN ACCIDENT. IF THIS KIND OF INFORMATION BOTHERS YOU, PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE! It takes seven tenths of a second to kill a person on a vehicle crash. Studies at Yale and Cornell University’s provided a dramatic split second chronology of what happens when a car rams into a tree at 55 mph. To get an idea of this short amount of time, it takes approximately 2/10 of a second to blink! We suggest you picture your young son or daughter in the driver’s seat. - At 1/10 of a second, the front bumper and grill collapse. - At 2/10 of a second the hood crumbles, rises, and smashes into the windshield while the grillwork disintegrates. The spinning rear wheels lift from the ground. Simultaneously, bumpers begin wrapping themselves around the tree. Although the car's frame has been halted, the rest of the car is still going 55 miles per hour. Instinct causes the driver to stiffen their legs against the crash. - At 3/10 of a second the driver is sprung upright from their seat, their stiffened legs snap at the knees from being jammed under the dashboard, and the steering wheel bends and twist under the drivers fear frozen grip. The steering wheel and the steering column aim for driver’s chest. - At 4/10 of a second two feet of the car's front end is destroyed and dead still, but the rear of the vehicle is still traveling at 55 mph. The half-ton engine impacts with the tree while the rear end still moves at 35 miles per hour. The driver’s body is still travelling at 55 miles per hour. - At 5/10 of a second the drivers fear-frozen hands bend the steering column into an almost vertical position as they are impaled on the steering wheel shaft. Jagged steel punctures their lungs and arteries causing blood to rush into the drivers lungs. - At 6/10 of a second the impact rips the shoes are ripped from the driver’s feet. The brake pedal breaks away and the vehicle chassis bends in the middle. The drivers head is slammed into the windshield. The vehicle's rear end begins its downward fall as its spinning tires churn into the ground. - At 7/10 of a second, the entire body of the car is twisted grotesquely out of shape. In one final agonizing convulsion, the front seat rams forward pinning the driver against what used to be the steering wheel shaft and dashboard. Blood pours from their mouth, the result of massive internal injuries. The drivers face is torn into horrible lacerations from smashing through the windshield and almost every bone in their body is broken. Shock has frozen the drivers heart . . . but they don't mind . . . because they are already dead. |
