1989 audi 2.2 coupe mot sept12 tax mar12

for sale is my Audi Coupe. It's a 1989 2.2E model, 2 door coupe
2226cc 5 cylinder motor
bought this as a running project, and now i have done most of the work, something else has come up.
231 thousand miles on the clock, but don't let this fool you, it still runs really well, oil pressure is way up, and the core plugs look newer than the rest of the engine, so I suspect some work at sometime in the past.
Full Jetex exhaust system, sounds lovely but not too loud.
MOT until September 2012, tax until March 2012. Laserline immobiliser fitted.
Interior is complete but grubby, seat bolsters not worn through.
Been told the steering wheel is from a Sport, but can't confirm this.
Towbar with single electrics ,BRAND NEW GENUINE Audi manifold ,
cambelt just changed with a new water pump,
plugs replaced, oil and filter changed,
front anti roll bar bushes replace with genuine audi items, and the link bushes have also, link rods painted. coolant changed.
new rear flexi hose and new front to rear brake pipe.
theres wiring for a sub also.
it pulls really well, and drives like its done 31,000



Bad points :
runs a bit rough to begin with in the morning, this is because the cold start injector doesnt turn off,and it wont start when hot, i have fed some wire through so a toggle switch can be used to turn it off inside the car, i will supply toggle switch and connectors.
Small rust patch started on drivers front wing, not rotted through but needs attention before it does.
Headliner has sagged, the glue has lost it's sticky and hangs down, not a problem, just a little unsightly.
has a small oil leak from what looks like the cam cover
clutch needs bleeding.
im being too critical here but the car drives superbly, and something else has come up, the practical classics price guide for this is £900 on a condition2, i would call this a 2+ easily

due to several timewasters who didnt even want to come an see the car and some who just wanted to see how quick it was "cos i aint drove one before innit"- "yeah and your not now- f*** off", still got my audi coupe, dropping the price to £450 ono would be good as a cheap runaround whilst your other audi gets a winter tickle, or mothballed, its taxed til march so will see you through winter, comes with a bootfull of spare parts.
