Default Lumpy Auto change

My Coupe 2.3 auto changes quite violently, more so obvious when warm. Took it to a specialist and said the fact that its positive doesn't suggest a box' fault more ECU. So, I plugged in my kit and I'm getting two faults:-

00518- throttle position sensor (G69) sporadic signal outside tolerance and

0299- transmission range program switch (E122) spoardic- short.
is this the throttle position sensor?

If this is the sensor, it doesn't seem dirty??
Should i change the gearbox oil too?

I presume the second fault is something to do with the stick itself?

I don't know if its relevant but the temp gauge isn't working at the mo?

advice appreciated, thanks
Bren
