Default Clutch Cable - Part Number?

Hi everyone,

Just windering if anyone would happen to know off-hand, or know of a way I could find a part-number for my 1985 Audi 80 GL (With a 1.8 DS)'s clutch cable?

I have seen lots of them on eBay, that are genuine, original parts, but there are loads of different part numbers.

Many thanks in advance,

Sie!

Ps. I remember someone once posting a link to an Audi technical resource, part-nuber search site thingy, I went on it and really couldnt work out what I needed, confused me more!

According to my parts list, that's for a LHD car.
A RHD 1.8 is listed as 812 721 335 AF.

Jim.... Thank You!

You helped me no end there - I have managed to fine one and order it, an original part, and quite cheap too!

Many thanks again,

Just for info: I've found that pre/post face-lift cars have slightly different cables, they'll both fit, but adjuster is in different place & using the wrong one can stress the cable & make operation even heavier (When I need a knee replacement, I'm gonna claim on Audi ;-) - should have made them all hydraulic, not just 5cyls & q's). Pity I did not see your post earlier: I've got about half-a-dozen knocking about. They should be around £20+VAT from GSF or ECP's. Cheers.
