Default Rustproofing

Does anyone have experience of the following treatments?

http://www.chassisclean.co.uk/
Want the car for 3 days.
They pressure clean the car and dry it in a hot air room overnight before treatment.

Process takes about 4 hours.

I'd be interested to know too, They're only 10 minutes away from me, and have been wondering whether or not anyone on here has used them or has an opinion.

Personally, I'm a bit dubious about the process of hot pressure washing a cars underbody and then waxoyling it in one hit, as described in the second link.
Letting it dry out first over a couple of days sounds a better approach.....

I waxoyled all my panels when I bought the car in 1991 and again it was done during the respray 5 years ago, Never had any rust other than on the inner surface of the arches in the 20years I have had it and it has seen plenty of salty roads upto about 14years ago. Now gets the underbody waxoyl treatment over the previous every 2 years....

By heating a wet car you would cause the moisture to evaporate and then condensate on the inside of the boxsections and undersides of the roof, got to be better not to wet it in the first place but if you must, then allow it to dry out naturally over a long period, 2or 3 days in the warm winds of California should do the trick!

Products like Waxoyl contain a very high percentage of white spirit, that evaporates away given time leaving the hard wax to dry out and crack.

Before I get shouted down take a look at the Red Bay Camper on www.retroauto.co.uk

40years old, never been kept in a garage (just a carport) no welding ever done, just protected with DINITROL products

(used to be difficult to buy this retail but now available from FROST RESTORATION )

1litre of Dinitrol will provide as much lasting protection as 5litres of Waxoyl type products.

When i get an Audi the first thing i will do is waxoyl underneath, Was looking at a treatment called kleentect this is a paint/sealant that last 10 years but exspencive £1.500 + vat for a landy 90 £1.700 +vat for a 110. I use waxoyl at work on Jcb boom every 500 hour service as a loob let it dry works better then grease. The best way i found to apply Waxoyl is to use a degreasing gun looks a lot better and you get a good coating jut thin it down with a bit of petrol just to help it spray.
