Default NON-AUDI - '73 Mk1 Passat
Vehicle Model : 1973 Mk1 Passat Coupe
Price : £1,000
Location : Milton Keynes
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook) ,Taxed ,MOT'd
On Ebay : Ebay Link

Not mine, looks interesting though. Always liked the shape of them and quite a rare beast nowadays.

"For sale is my very rare 1973 Passat mk1 Coupe 1.5 bright orange, there were only ever 6 destined for the UK, 1 was stolen and 1 was wrote off leaving only 4 left in the UK apparently. The car was also featured in PVW Sept/Oct 2006.

The car is MOT till August 2011 and Taxed till February 2011 and has covered 74k

The engine has had all new gaskets including head gasket and new cam belt, oil filter etc. it also has twin 40 carbs with scat filters and a up rated cam but they do need attention as it isn't running as it should it’s a bit lumpy, the car has only been used once in the last 2yrs. It is dry storage under cover. My intention was to restore the car fully and use it for show but other commitments and cars have come before it.

It has the exhaust manifold from an estate version due to a bigger bore with a new exhaust system but the mid section bracket is missing so it is running low. It is lowered on Vauxhall Cosmic 14" wheels with very good tyres. The paint work is really good especially for the age with little to no rust. the car comes with many spare like new glass, bumper, bonnet and boot etc. The interior is good but the drivers seats are worn as shown in the pics,

There is a folder with lots of receipts throughout its life and MOT's dating backed to 1991 to prove the mileage of the car. I taxed and MOT the car in August with the mileage at 74684 to enable me to attend edition 38 car show, VW biggest UK car show where it received allot of attention. The car has only been used once in the last 2yrs. The car has spent allot of time in dry storage where it currently is kept. My intention was to restore the car fully and use it for show but other commitments and cars have come before it.

Any question or to arrange a viewing please email, txt or call 07525 250199"

that is very nice. I've been on the look out for a scirocco for a little while to stand alongside and complement the coupe but that looks cooler than cool

I can see a bit of Morris Marina in there somewhere. And nice to know Audi continued the tradition of trimming out with poor quality, sub standard materials for the interiors into the early '80's.
I do like it tho

I'm bloody tempted by this. Keep trying to delete it from my watch list but I can't do it! Ideal for summer
