Found this on the bay, looks very clean and tidy with low mileage. Shame it's a 4-pot though.
I suppose it might be worth putting in a 5-pot just to have a clean example! |

The first coupe i ever drove was a 1.8 when i was looking for my first GT.But it was so long ago the memory has faded a bit ![]() Would be interesting to find out a comparison between these and the fivepot cars from someone who has driven both. Would imagine the GTI engine would go quite well? |

Agree - thsose 1.8 injections go extremely well, we had one on demo and it drove extremely well, not much in it performance wise. The steering and front end felt a lot lighter than the 5 cylinder models.
