Manta 400

This gorgeous Opel was at Weston Park the other weekend also. Looking very mint and rare.
Sorry not an Audi but worthy of a post on anyones forum.

You'll never believe me if I told you, but I drove a 400 almost identical to that, (from memory, it was white with those stripes on the doors and maybe a '400' on them too) from Redhill in Surrey to Dover in 1989.. My ears bled for a week...

Funny it's not an Audi but I just keep finding myself looking at it thinking how gorgeous it is, every little curve and straight line and the way the rear arches are riveted on.

Dad had two GLS's - Pale Metallic Blue (no vinyl roof) then Hazelnut Brown Metallic (Vinyl Roof)

Always liked the Manta - I remember seeing the Russell Brookes 400 (Andrews heating) at the Autosport show at their Auction and it looked in a right old state, hopefully it has been restored now.
