I have for sale a 1985 type 85 90 quattro, i've owned the car since september last year and been using it on a regular basis..
The car has covered 241k since new, it is very tatty but ideal for a project / restore.. Engine still pulls like a train and is strong in all gears, lowered around 60mm, golf g60 front brakes, latter type speedline alloys with good tyres, very clean interior, 4x4 works fine and so does the diff control.. Just had a new battery fitted, It is taxed and MOT'd till may this year so you can easily drive her away, altho it wont go straight through a new mot.. It needs some welding on the sills and under neath altho alot was already carried out just before i brought it.. The laquer is peeling on the roof and boot lid, bonnet and fuel cap are matt black (not red oxide like in the pic), Rust on bottom corner o/s of scuttle panel and a hole bottom of d/s front door, it needs a new rear quarter window rubber on the n/s (currently taped up to stop any leaks etc), d/s front door / window seal which has fallen into inside of door, As usual on these it needs a new rear valance which i have and will be included in the sale.. It has a had a bump to the rear which needs straightening just under the rear light but nothing major, I really would love to restore this car but unfortunately time and money just wont allow me to.. please pm me with questions you may have, thanks, Adam ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

it doesn't look bad at all, it's a steal. I'd love to have it but it would end up in parts because it's a RHD and that would be a shame.

Too good for parts... needs to be given some TLC by new owner and it will go on and on.
