here are a few shots of her - first two from the original advert when she was for sale in southport, in august (?) 2011 and some more seasonal shots taken up at my parents' place in perthshire in january 2013 . .

i hope you have as much fun and reliable adventures as i did and don't forget to keep those door checks clean!!!

Hi, Muriel is looking a bit different these days

She's been reliable but costly to maintain as I've replaced no end of parts including new head gaskett and head, suspension uprated with new ball joints, shocks, Springs, disks and pads, drive shafts, track rod ends, 4 new calipers, brake lines....list goes on and on....but still worth it and only just passed 150k. Fitted a new standard rear bumper while I hunt for one from an S2 avant, rs2 steering wheel on the inside is nice too.

Will post more pics when she's finished (and washed)

she is looking well sporty - you'd never guess there was an oil burner under the bonnet!

nice to see she's still going strong - looking forward to more shots

Few quick snaps this morning before heading for weekly shop....need to find time to G3 her again, need to sort rust around bonnet edge and colour code door mouldings, wing mirrors and rear bumper till I find one from an S2 avant.

It's going in on Tuesday to have 40mm springs instead of the 50/60 set up, handles like a dream in the current set up but the ride's to hard on local speed bumps
