Carlisle, filled it with diesel. Made it to Shap. Hi there, good car that! Did you break it?! Or is RAC recovery just cheaper than the fuel to get home?

Nope im not that silly , tho I did do that once (everyone has, right????) Luckily not in my car - was an Octavia courtesy car. The 1.6fsi has a lovely rasp to it running on a 1:5 diesel petrol mix.

Back to the point, rather optimistic on distance achieved im afraid

Haha I believe the robbery happened at Craig's kitchen table in Largs (only kidding)....love it really. OK well the distance achieved was about 14 miles. CLUE: I coasted to a convenient bus stop
