Hi ,, I am in Bedfordshire but I drove the car to Ireland and then the bearing started to play up,,, I know your car and nearly had it bought before you bought it ,,, I love the gobi gold and the brown interior

Good it's sorted, not a five minute task on a type 44, for anyone who gets stuck (or anyone who doesn't have a 20T press) you basically batter out all the balls/seals/inner race (sealed bearing) then you're left with the outer race pretty much self-welded into the housing, they must be pressed in frozen or some bloody thing, nightmare. I get mine out by welding a massive seam onto the inside of the outer race, this heats it enough to batter it out with a very big hammer, in a very big vice, but I did try with a 10T press, no fekn chance..
