Default Any Range Rover owners here?

I recall someone mentioned they had one around 2005 model year.

I am particularly interested to know if the 3.0 TD has a DPF as that would be a killer for me. Looking to replace the missus Freelander and don't fancy the Allroad again at any age of car!

Any other advice appreciated.

I know they are a risky purchase, I am just drawn to them and a 4x4 suits the roads where we live.

Compulsory since 2009 so before that you should be OK.

Should be, but its also not that straight forward, its a bit of a mine field.

I did end up getting one of these. Its like driving a Cathedral on wheels.

Not like anything I have ever driven before. Liking it so far though - wafting along. Got it mainly for the missus / daily driver.

Nice motor
Late first generation Sport?

Looks like you could use a period number plate on the front

Cheers , not a sport no, just Range Rover latest shape before the (L405) 2013 came out. Yeah the plate missing look is not a great look, should be done tomorrow hopefully if the sticky things arrive

So is this a TD5 type or V6 ?

Not a major fan of large 4x4 type motors but if you're going to have one then why not a RR!...….I get the appeal though, just not for me. (although the old ones with the teddy bear upholstery are nice...….feck me , maybe I like them!)

Drove an X5 2016 4.0 tdi yesterday......it was horrible.....lane mode thing was making the steering wheel shake because I was using the road...….bloody horrendous it was.
