For my own purposes I'd like to ask a quick question of you all.

How much would you be willing to spend per month to store your car in a dry secure building with access to a fully loaded workshop?

Space would be of a size large enough for you to work on the car in situ and access would be limited to staff and only those who have vehicles stored at the same site.

This sounds like heaven, though am lucky to have just moved into a house with a garage to comfortably fit the 200 (with mechanics pit) and a large workshop at the rear of the garden. And I live in london! Considering how much it's costing I would have to pay the guts of a grand to have what you describe, so yeah, I'd pay a grand a month.

That's quite a range from the first two responses! Might need a little more before I take it any further!

There's one company (annoyingly down my way!) that does this but only stores the car for you and it's £43 per week including VAT which I think is a bit too much (£185/month) and it doesn't give you anything but dry storage and a trickle charger!

We have 2 adjacent lock-up garages that we rent from a Housing association, on the edge of a former Council Estate (now mainly privately owned)
We pay £40.00 a month for each and have done for a number of years, without incident.

Restrictions apply as to working on the car, but it is much better to have a formal agreement rather than renting redundant farm buildings on a cash basis, been there, done that

Between £40 and £80 per month for my things to be stored up in Scotland. Geographically not ideal.

Around Poole, I've been trying without success to find dry storage/working space. I had been mulling over similar ideas as you have, above.

Well I pay £550 a month for this, with the ramp. It's changed around a bit in there this weekend. It has an office, toilet, and a kitchen area (that I had to get put in) also has a 120kw heater in there too

My car will be going in to storage at the end of the year and I am paying £39 a month for it. This is under cover storage with about 20 other cars no where to work on it just storage only, but dry no sunlight and secure so suits my needs for a few months.

P.S Tom your workshops looks great.
