I have owned the car since 2009 and it is in good condition. Due to illness it was taken off the road in September 2010 and has been is storage ever since. I MOTed it April 2013 but didn't use it much. I only did about 900 miles, and put it back in the garage in August 13

I know I have blown hot and cold with this car. But I have now decided to sell it. As most of you know Ive been ill since I took the car off the road in 2010. But I'm glad to say that I'm now out of the woods and in a much better place with my health now. But my life and circumstances have changed completely.

The car comes with a history file which backs up the mileage and shows previous maintenance and repairs. I bought the car with no service books or manuals but have a print out from audi as it was on a service contract. I have also got a brand new set of RS2 books including a brand new service book. I fitted 4 brand new tyres for the MOT last year and also changed the oils. L22 RRS reg number will be sold with the car.

As I said the car has been in storage now for three and half years. It's been plugged into the wall and has been started and ran now and then. It needs new brake discs and pads, and will need some of the paint redone. Due to it sitting it needs the valve stem oils seals replaced as I think they have hardened whilst it has sat. It smokes until warm then clears. (I'm told this is not a big job as it can be done without the need to remove the head) Oil pressure is spot on uses no water and runs very well indeed. All the bushes have been replaced for mots in the past and the only Mot advisory last year was the discs. Cam belt has been done.

I have tried to be as honest as I can with this car. Please feel free to come and view the car.

I have just been F@@ked about by a man/boy with no money so please serious buyers only.

I am open to sensible offers as I know the car needs work, but I'm in no rush to give it away

£10,750 ono

I reckon people would be willing to pay a fair few more quid for it if you promise not to change it for a bloody golf :S

Something so special to something so boring and common

surprised you found any for sale. I remember 3-5 years ago, a search for RS2's for sale would chuck up a dozen or more. Now you're lucky to find 2 or 3. Most of the LHD ones have made their way back in to Europe when our pound was weak against the Euro.
Well priced and if I hadn't bought the 996, I'd have had another RS2 in an instant, but finding a good one nowadays is no easy task.
