Possible venue to meet up initially would be Penrith or Poole Bridge for a drive along I think Ullswater or back up towards A66 towards Keswick then through Borrowdale Valley towards Cockermouth back via Keswick then towards Grasmere Ambleside then Bowness on Windermere???? Any thoughts cause I don't know Lakes that well and do we do one day or two days?? Thoughts n opinions would be great and possible more numbers as we have 4 people down at the moment and if numbers don't increase I'll just call it off. Thanks

Nice one Graeme.
Lakeland motor museum looks good too.
As for 1 or 2 days- I'm cool- whatever others can manage.
I'll be staying down for a few days anyway.

I might stay down there too. There’s a campsite not far from the museum, Baystonebank Farm, Millom. It’s also the Cumbrian Heavy Horse yard. It’s on Google.

Never been to the museum although I have driven past it on many an occasion.
