Price : £3795

Additional Details : V5C (Logbook) ,Taxed ,MOT'd

Time has come after 3 years of ownership to part ways with my lovely Audi Cabriolet 2.8 V6 Automatic. It’s a great car and has had literally thousands spent on her during my time of ownership (see breakdown below) and would serve someone with more space than me very well moving forward – I have four cars with space for two and its becoming a bigger problem with new neighbours as I can’t use their drive anymore.

The history of this car is well documented on here and the S2 Forum, she has had her fair share of problems over the years, including water leaks and dodgy electrics, but those days are behind her (at considerable expense to me – with receipts to prove)

She is 19 years old and still wearing her original paint, it’s not perfect as it’s not a show car that lives in a garage and appears only at events, she’s seen all weathers and there is some age related marks here and there as you would expect, but she looks fantastic in the summer with the roof down, or in the winter with the hardtop on, keeping the elements outside at bay.

The hard top is a very rare item, especially with the full mechanical and electrical fittings, this one has all of that as well as a stand and is colour coded to the bodywork. The normal fabric roof is electrically operated on this car and works fully, along with controls for all 4 electric windows – these normally fail in the relay or the rams leak preventing operation.

She’s been all over Europe in my possession and was rock solid throughout swallowing up mileage though France, Switzerland, Italy and Spain without issue.

She has just had a new MOT that runs through till 23rd June 2017, has a full service history from a well-respected German car specialist garage in Northampton – recent work includes a full normal service in addition to a comprehensive gearbox service.

Tyres all have loads of life in them, at least 5mm all round, I have both keys, owner’s manual and associated books as well as a bunch of other related info on the car, including period magazines reviewing the model.

As you have probably guessed, she has been modified, but all with the interests of making the car a long term ownership prospect and more reliable/comfortable, this includes:

• Ultra-rare Brock B1 17” alloys, 9.5J at front, 10.5J at rear
• Ultra-rare Hard top with fitting kit in matching colour and summers stand with cover
• KW V1 Adjustable Coil-overs (cost over £900)
• Fully poly-bushed using Powerflex purple bushes
• Audi S2 ABY front heated black leather seats
• Audi S2 steering wheel
• Audi 2 pot UR Quattro front callipers
• Original Audi wind deflector
• MTEC Uprated front discs & EBC Red Stuff pads
• Custom made floor mats
• Fully upgraded Alpine Audio system (CD//MP3/iPod) with Parrot Bluetooth hands free
• Fli Amplified Subwoofer
• Full black leather interior with carbon effect trim
• Ellipsoid headlights
• New S2 door side skirts
• Upgraded Bosch heater matrix
• US spec twin cup holders

She is well liked and well presented, Audi even featured her in their social media channels on Instagram and Twitter (see pics) and has made a brief appearance in Audi Driver magazine.

Depressingly, all this has come at a cost and all receipts live in a folder that the wife cannot find or I will be in trouble. Spend in my ownership outside of the purchase price of the car is as follows and is well documented:

Parts: £5,477.70
Servicing & Labour: £5,223.49

I will also let her go with a pile of spares that should help the next owner of her journey, these include:

• Original bonnet grille
• Rear light cluster panel
• Original suspension
• A mix of lights, indicators, fogs, etc
• A mix of central locking pump parts
• New unopened box of EBC Red Stuff pads
• Battery Cover
• Original door side skirts
• Spare roof relays

Mileage is 131,635

I am looking for £3795 with Hardtop but will consider selling her without hardtop for £2995
