Handbrake assembly
Hiya, I'm new to all this so some advice would be really appreciated I've an 86 gt coupe 2.2! The handbrake mechanism doesn't lock into place anymore, I've tried eBay but all the pictures of handbrake parts breaking dont look like mine is there any way I can have mine repaired/replaced? I'm getting frustrated as this is my first project car....(probably in over my head, but in for a penny in for a pound).
Cheers in advance anyone who can help |

Handbrake assembly
When you pull the handbrake lever up, does it still apply the rear brake?

The rear brakes themselves are fine, the handbrake lever is the problem, the Pawl doesn't catch the teeth anymore, the teeth are rounded off so the handbrake lever doesn't stay up if you know what I mean! Thank you for replying
