The problem with the lack of numbers who wish to attend shows is this issue of scuffs and scrapes was at the N.E.C. some years ago on an other car stand and two yobs went and got in a friends car as if they owned it ,people are fed up with spending time and money on there pride and joy to have it damaged at shows would sooner just go in the truck and look at others cars not my own .

As a postscript to this, today I left a nice freshly cleaned B4 all day at a local classic car show. On returning to collect I found it covered in a thick layer of dust and sporting a scuff mark in the paint on the rear offside thanks to an a**hole in a Morgan who had parked skew-wiff next to me causing people to have to squeeze past and resulting in someone's bag/jacket/pram marking my paintwork, exacerbated by the very dry and dusty conditions

Hopefully it will polish out but I'm not confident

Good result on this today. Thanks to Auto Glym's finest and a bit of elbow grease the scuff mark is no more

Now just need some overnight rain and/or bird poop to spoil all todays hard graft prior to tomorrows Nog n Nat!
