Default CQ Sunroof weatherseal what way up

Hi all

This is probably a silly question but what way up does the sunroof seal go? Velvet side or ribbed side? The reason I ask is I replaced mine a few months ago and did it as per the totally knackered one that came off that had the velvet side down, and my problem is no matter how I adjust the plates at the end I cant get it to seal, I saw a Ur-Quattro recently that had a seal with velvet on the outside, so now I'm wondering if the original one was wrongly fitted and I've copied it or what.

if I can get a consensus view from a few people as to what theirs is like I'm hoping I can sort it if mines the wrong way round.

To clarify the seal is new from Audi dealer, and has a flat plasticky side with very small ridges and a velvety side

Thanks in advance

Nige
