Ian is about to drive the most significant, historic and most valuable rally car in the world, that being IN-NE 3, the world's first 4WD, turbocharged rally car - and more to the point....the actual car that put Audi on the map in terms of quattro success and the pressure begins to show........

The photos speak for themselves.....
By the end of the day I was a nervous bumbling wreck as can be seen in the last image...I then proceeded to spill mustard out of a hot dog down the front of johns Audi Sport race suit that I had squeezed into...good job it washed out!!
I must thank John for trusting me with the Algarve car...all the way round I kept saying to myself "DONT CRASH...DONT CRASH..."!!
So roll on next year...hopefully I'll get to drive the S1....I know theres no way Id get him out of the A2!

ingolstadt. it would have been great to be there.

we could have loads of quattros thrashing around Milton Keynes, Audis UK headquarters,

John "hansport" i remember you buying Graham Knights Shortie, from Green Lane Stockport.
i was at the parts counter and showed you upstairs to chat with him about selling the car. TAA77
that was about 96. do you still have it?

Peter

perhaps we should do a "Trident" approach..... NO not nuke Audi AMANDA

BUT TO HAVE 3 ideas

1) as Eltee says have something at Audi UK
2) AT INGOLSTADT
3) something up this end, perhpas Strirling Eltee Audi can knock something up

Alpha.... your a very fortunate chappy to be honoured to drive these cars

That sounds about right, last time we went to Audi Tradition (last Easter) they were all very busy dressed up as Easter bunnies! I guess that would make anyone tired!!

Excellent pics and video John, thanks for posting them up.
