Audi 100 Windscreen and trim
Hi,
I'm looking for the chrome trim that goes round the front and rear screens of an Audi 100 Type 44, 1986. The part isn't available genuine new from Audi here in Ireland but hopefully someone here may be able to point me in the direction of a specialist website, etc. or know where there are 2 sitting in the corner of a warehouse! I currently have a generic black trim around both front and rear screens and it looks miserable in comparison to the original. I also have a couple of donor cars but its almost impossible not to wreck the trim when cutting out the screen. Id consider buying a plain, non tint front screen also, as the current one is tinted and the other windows are non tinted. Any ideas? Thanks |

Across Europe, these are NLA, it seems. I need one, too.
Audi had a tool and a procedure for getting the windscreens out that supposedly left the trim intact. Supposedly, in North America, they were still available. The issue is transporting them, if it's true.
